Cialis Dosage

Cialis is the second most popular drug after Viagra for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Cialis is comparatively more effective than Viagra and has different dosages that need to be carefully considered before consuming.

The dosage for Cialis depends of factors such as the medical condition of a person and the other medicines taken by the person. The recommended dosage for Cialis to treat small cases of erectile dysfunction is 5 mg to 10 mg. The drug needs to be taken one hour before the sexual activity at the minimum or even 36 hours before indulging in sexual activity. If the 5 to 10 mg of dosage is not effective, the doctor can increase the dosage to 20 mg, which is the maximum level of dosage recommended.

Cialis is taken by men on a daily basis to increase stamina. In these cases, the maximum dosage recommended is 2.5 mg and is needed to be taken at the same time every day. It is not necessary if you plan to indulge in sexual activity or not for taking the micro dosage of Cialis. The 2.5 mg dosage of Cialis can be increased to 5 mg in cases where the micro dosage does not work. People with kidney diseases need to be careful with their dosages of Cialis, with 5 mg being the maximum in people with severe kidney diseases and 10 mg being the maximum in patients with moderate kidney diseases in a 48 hour period. Patients with severe liver damage are not permitted to take Cialis.
